In addition, we are probably the most family friendly club in the country - so while the kids enjoy a lesson or game of tennis with their friends, you can relax with a coffee and newspaper in our lovely Rothschild Clubhouse. Whether you want to stretch yourself at a competitive level, escape from the winter weather with some indoor tennis, or visit to use the gym or meet friends for lunch, Halton is a great place to stay fit and healthy. PAVILION CAFÉ
At the heart of our lovely old Rothschild clubhouse is the Pavilion Café, an excellent venue to enjoy some great food from our delicious menu, prepared by our own chef, Steve Barnes, or just relax with a coffee and paper with your friends.
EVENTS & FUNCTIONS
The Tennis Centre makes a great venue for birthday parties, weddings and any special occasions. Available for hire on Saturday nights throughout the year. Holds up to 100 people in the winter, and more in summer, making use of the verandah and patio area.
Room Hire is £150 (£100 for Tennis/Gym members). There is a full choice of menus, both cold buffet and formal sit down dinner. Please call Julia on 01296 623453 to discuss your requirments.
FAMILIES
Our aim is to be the most family friendly tennis club in the UK. Our Social calendar extends beyond just tennis events – with lots of activities for you and your children to enjoy throughout the year. As both an LTA Mini Tennis and High Performance Centre we truly offer a 'toddler to teenager experience, with lots of great coaching, camps and social and junior team tennis for children aged 3-18, run by our Director of Tennis, Mike James. Also, the facilities are available for hire for children & adults parties, barbeques, weddings and corporate events.
LADIES
We offer lots of daytime and evening classes, and on wednesdays we run fun tournaments followed by lunch.
