Halton offers plenty of choice when it comes to getting younger people to take part in gym activities. We now offer Junior Gym membership, classes and FREE gym membership for under 16s whose parents are both gym members.
Junior gym club sessions
Children from age 10+ also have the option to join the Junior Gym Club (if they are a tennis member then its included within their tennis membership). This enables you to come to the gym club sessions free of charge on a Saturday (term time only). These sociable sessions focus on agility, co-ordination, balance and speed along with bodyweight fitness activities to work on your all round fitness.
All club sessions are run by our professional trainers headed by Gemma, who is responsible for all the Junior activities.
Juniors under 16 are welcome to join the gym - a parent must be present while they attend.
- Family membership - we now offer parents who are both members to have up to 2 children accompany them during their sessions for free!
- Standard junior membership - £15pm, if one parent is also a member. Juniors will be required to complete an induction session with Gemma and follow an agreed programme and parent must be present in the gym during training, though U16s may train alone with prior approval from Gemma that they are able to train safely without a parent present.
- Student membership - £30pm for full membership, £25pm for off peak membership for students at school, sixth form, college or university. If you are U16 you are required to undertake an induction with Gemma and gain approval that you are able to train safely without adult supervision.
