Helen is the first point of contact for members with any queries related to using the gym.
Helen is a Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) Level 3 Advanced Personal Trainer and also an England Athletics qualified Running Coach, specialising in off-track running 5k and upwards. Her particular training interest is looking at the body's ability to work through a full range of motion bringing in balance and posture, looking at how the client works mechanically during the performance of an exercise and the various compensations that can occur. Often the body is merely compensating for intrinsic biomechanical faults during functional tasks or sport and the more we repeat those tasks or movements the risk of injury increases. She loves helping clients finding muscles they didn't even know existed!
Helen's personal sport is distance running and you will often see her running around the locality. Her favourite distance is the marathon and she runs with local club, Bearbrook Running Club. Believe it or not, not everyone can run efficiently (although they think they can!). Making tweaks to your technique and being able to activate the correct muscles will result in less power loss and less injury. In addition to this having a training plan that reflects your own training ability and lifestyle is paramount in making it to the start line. However Helen also enjoys working with those simply looking to keep fit or lose weight with the main aim that you should enjoy your gym sessions!

Dom is an Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCC) with the UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA), as well as holding numerous other professional qualifications. As the Head of Athlete Development, it is Dom's responsibility to oversee the Sports Science delivery within the Everyball International Academy tennis programme; this can encompass Strength & Conditioning, Mental & Emotional Training and Nutrition & Lifestyle Management. Dom also acts as a point of reference for players, coaches, parents and the LTA, among others. In addition to the tennis programme, Dom trains athletes from a number of other sports as well as tennis members and also those with a more general health and wellbeing goal.

Gemma is an Accredited Strength and Conditioning coach and has a Degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Loughborough University and a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from Roehampton University. These provide her with a solid understanding of how the body moves and responds to training. This, along with her Strength and Conditioning qualification, fuels her training programme writing and delivery to make it the most effective it can be. Gemma believes both her knowledge and experiences working in professional sporting organisations can be used to help others meet the physical demands of their sport. Gemma also understands the importance exercise has in helping to promote good health. Consequently she offers a Health MOT service and advice and training to improve your health.

Sport is her life and passion and with a Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) Level 3 fitness trainer qualification gained with Premier and an NASM International Bridging course, Sarah will guide you safely to a new level of fitness to suit your personal goals. She has been involved directly with tennis, as a coach, and hockey, as a player at International level (and the occasional short triathlon!) but will also help you achieve improved movement skills for everyday life. Continued professional development and knowledge towards a better understanding of biomechanics is high on her agenda for the coming year.

Jason started his professional fitness career back in 1996 joining the Royal Air Force as a Physical Training Instructor; during his 16 years in the military he gained experience in Personal Training, Exercise to Music, Circuit Training and Battle PT to name a few. He also qualified as an Outdoor Activity Instructor and Personal Development Facilitator. He continued his passion for teaching and education with the completion of his CertEd at Wolverhampton University. Upon leaving the RAF, Jason furthered his experience and knowledge, gaining his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer award and also became a Certified Nutritionist. With an extensive and diverse background in Fitness, Education and Personal Development, Jason has a teaching style to suit any situation and always strives to motivate, inspire and educate each and every client ensuring they achieve their goals.
